Swiss Tropic original 1960's skin diver

Something special here. This is a new old stock Swiss Tropic ORIGINAL band from the 1960's (we also have the 1970's version). It has the original gold tone buckle, curved ends, 2 keepers, and it benefits from having the old logo (very rare to even see images of this old logo).

This particular variant from the 1960's rarely becomes available for sale. Grab one of you want one. We have very limited stock.

Openly referred to as the best aftermarket watch strap available (if of course you are able to get your hands on them, they went out of production in the 70's)

Back then if you wanted a rubber dive band for your Rolex Submariner rather than the metal bracelet, the watch would have been supplied by Rolex with a Swiss Tropic strap.

Personally we prefer to fit all/any vintage watches with these Swiss made straps as standard. It's a nice finishing touch and adds a bit of flair.

Vintage watches from the 50's and 60's in general have a lug size (band width) of either 16mm or 18mm, though some can be as small as 14mm. The majority of vintage Rolex Oyster models take a 19mm strap.

A Tropic band will add value to any vintage watch (both financial and aesthetic).
